# About me / this website

My name is WiredFang. I am the creator and maintainer of this website, and made this in the hope of educating and inspiring people. This site is heavily inspirated by "Madaidan's Insecurities" (hence the name "WiredFang's Insecurities") and can be seen as a continuation of it, although mine isn't nearly as professional as his. The articles (if you can call them that) are mostly just advice about privacy and security related topics. I even have some piracy guides, as I strongly believe in the preservation of media and the freedom of people online, even if I don't explicitly endorse piracy.

Keep in mind that this site is mostly just a collection of different sources and that almost nothing is actually original. I also absolutely do not claim to be a security researcher nor that all information on this site is accurate or true, although I do try my best. That's why I always try to include the source of where I found my information or a quote from someone reputable.
